Our neighbor still has the plastic covering the root system of the City easement tree. The City of Ann Arbor Forester, Tiffany Giacobazzi, has spoken out against this practice as potentially deadly to city owned and planted trees. The attached photo is from this afternoon. The Community Standards Officer is incorrect. The homeowner is not in compliance. The Comm Standards Officer should consult with the City Forester especially because this practice is being copied when not addressed.
