Really? The flag is not up and the bracket appears to be the same old one. Please clarify.

Flags are on display during select time periods such as Memorial Day and July 4th. Leaving the flags up from Memorial Day through July 4th results in the damage shown in the photo. To prevent this the DPW removes and replaces damaged flags in our inventory prior to re-installation during the next scheduled display period. Sorry for any confusion as to why there are not any large flags on display in that portion of Main Street at this time.
