BRC Rick assigned this issue to APD SGT-NEU

The car still sits there----no action. Why is it that APD ignores abandoned vehicle reports with...well, abandon? There have been other reports of abandoned cars on the street for months and nothing has happened. I reported one that had an expired registration and inspection (like this one) that was on Glendale Ave. for 2 years, and I was told by the neighborhood officer, Gordon McLean that it was "taken care of". Well, it wasn't and it sat there for many months afterwards until the owners got rid of it likely because it was not longer operable. This is the case with this car....this is the THIRD time I have reported it.
