How can that be??? If it is the street and not part fo the driveway then it is the city's job to fix it. If the city fixed it years ago then they have to fix it again. Suggest yoiu call the news media like Fox News, WDIV or Wxyz. That will get the city Public Works Dept attention.

Here we are 2012 the patch is all broken up, street still is very bad from 13 mile into the subdivision and the city of Warren still has done nothing to fix the problem....BUT they sure want us to pay our taxes on time!!!!!!!

An update to the bad street pon Saint Once Cir...April 26, 2012, they repaved some sections of the street, the patch in front of my home was replaced and after last nights rain, it still pools up...this is after they poured new concrete...I guess the city of Warren uses contractors who don't know what they are doing, you would think that they would have pitched it towards the drain, now I have pretty new cement with the same old problem, water pooling up in front of my driveway....can we all say..."What a waste of our tax dollars at work.

Here is an update (April 26, 2012) on the bad street on Saint Onge Cir. The city came by and paved some sections of the street, after last nights rain, there is STILL pooling of water in front of my driveway. I guess the city of Warren uses contractors who don't know what they are doing, but I have pretty new concrete in front of my home. They want us to pay our taxes but they provide less than quality work from their contractors. It must be to hard for them to know that they needed to pitch the section towards the drain. We called the city and you get the same old response....we will send someone out to inspect it. Way to go Mayor Fouts, keep those less than quality contractors working in the city and spending my tax dollars.

Update...April 26, 2012. The city came back out and inspected the job that was not done correctly, he said to my wife..."It was my mistake, we didn't pitch it correctly". Now they removed the just laid concrete and my approach and will pour new concrete....lets hope that they do it correctly this time....I have my doubts.

May 8, 2012....still waiting for the concrete to be poured. When they removed my approach to the driveway, they hacked up some pavers that I had put down next to the driveway so that I could put my trash cans on, they were suppose to saw cut them....now I have a jig saw puzzle to put them back so that they look half way nice.

Here we are 2023 and it's the same problem. The concrete that was poured about 10 years ago has broken up and you can see the rods that are there to reinforce it, call the city all the did was cold pack it. This winter when they come by to clear the snow, they will pull up the cold pack and right back to the same old stuff. Saint onge circle is a rough ride, needs replacing from 13 mile to glode.
