know this has not been fixed the people were rude , they hung up on me and told me that it would be year before it is done .....My neighbors car was shot three times and he has to pay $1,000 dollar in to fix his vehical . he has fixed security cameras and the trees are over grown his cameras can not distinguish images in the night. also, the growth on the trees are out of control ....

It is a danger as I have video cameras to protect my block and the trees hinder the view and at night the leaves over shadow the street light and I cannot get a response for the park department or anyone who would trim them , i notice that the whole city has this problem were the tree branches are not being maintain on city blocks southwest, university cit,y ,south philly ...germantown

not fix ... what is Ironic as i drive through Philadelphia I notice how many of the trees are over grown such as my block I truly believe much of this is contributing to the crime in our city as the trees over hang on to the sidewalks and cover many of the street lights preventing the presence of any light source from creating visibility issues for people and surveillance cameras i am going to notify the media about this ongoing problem a man he said he was the head of the dept from the park commission came years ago and he had a hand held device very small and pacified me with " see that is all needs to happen " no that is not all that needs to happen and I was appalled at his response.....

I have informed Kenyatta Johnson about this issue throughout the city and how it is creating crime spots in my neighborhood as well .....it is almost completely dark ....and no one is responding ..were are the funds going to keep these city trees maintained.... many of the tree limbs are dropping to the point you have to pushed them out the way as you walk, and they are obstructing the street lights making it hard to recognize a potential predator ...I have tire of this and feel helpless.....it is going on years now and no response .

The issue on the first block 2500 Block of South Dewey street , now the 2600 block of Dewey is faced with the same issue.... that block face the same issue ....it took me since 2011 to get the trees trimmed back which happened in 2016 .. the trees like on the 2600 block is also obstructing view of video cameras and the light coming from the street lamps their was a round of shooting just two days ago ...this is a constant activity in the area ...that is not being actively remedied by the police department ....

this issue is not resolved for the life of me i cant understand how they would do one block and not the other I guess i will have to wait another 4yrs ..I am grateful that the 2500 block trees were finally cut .but the foliage is out of control through out the city streets

Pleeeeeeeaaaaase come and cut the trees on the 260 block of S Dewey street ,,,hopefully it wont take 4 more yrs ..just two days ago it was a shoot out , and 20 -30 young men all over peoples property ..leaving debris... we just want our neighborhoods to look safe and be safe The trees block everything the street lights the faces , the view of a safe passage ....

no the problems has not been resolved .... trees need to be trimmed back all in that area including the corner of 61 st and buist st ...crime is a problem and the trees are blocking cameras and view at night very dark all trees are covering the light from the street lamps ...what is the park budget being used for .....
