Thank you for your A2 Fix It request, #405010. Your request is important to us and will be prioritized and addressed based on the overall availability of city resources. Please note: If the nature of your request is urgent, such as water emergencies, please check Report a Problem - A2 Fix It for phone numbers to contact us. A2 Fix It is for non-urgent, non-emergency issues and is monitored during weekday business hours only. Your patience is appreciated.
Thank you notifying us of this issue; we will visit the site and remove this signage. Please feel free to leave another comment if you notice other wayward signs on your street. Thanks for your diligence on this matter, and your patience as we work out a solution.
If one walks around the First & Ashley project zone from Huron northwards, it is quite easy to find a good half-dozen leftover and irrelevant signs—some are toppled over. If there is a concern with keeping drivers alert to the new traffic patterns, it seems unwise to add any unnecessary visual clutter.
As I commented on the Chapin & Miller issue, there seems to be a process failure in following up with contractors as city projects wind down.
Your request has been acknowledged and/or addressed to the best of staff's ability. A more detailed description of action taken by staff, if available, is provided in the comments above. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
