Ridiculous. When will this get fixed? Are we supposed to just replace our basements and contents every year?
Don’t even bother telling me my driveway drain isn’t big enough. I put a camera on it and can show you water coming UP from the last two storms. Was the pump on 440 running or are you trying to avoid the DEP fines?!?!?

Please note that JCMUA mobilized multiple crews in advance of the storm in an effort to mitigate impacts associated with this event. The JCMUA’s storm preparations included clearing catch basins, remaining debris from the streets and securing equipment and infrastructure. Additionally, the ongoing construction work associated with infrastructure improvements was halted while construction material and equipment were consolidated and secured in advance of the storm. As of this morning, damage reported for the city included: flooding, disabled vehicles, water main breaks, sinkholes, and collapsed streets. Please note that this event was declared a state of emergency by Governor Murphy on September 1, 2021. The JCMUA will continue to work diligently to clean, inspect, and restore damaged areas after the event.
