Per Stormwater, no stormwater equipment at this location - reassigning to CSR to inspect and determine if the issue at this location might be addressed by another department.

Storm drain at alley at 718 44th Ave N and appears to have only 6 or 8 inch pipe which during a heavy down pour of rain may not be able to handle the volume of water fwd to Stormwater to check drain at that location and will inform engineering to be part of master plan if necessary.

The SPTO call center acknowledges this issue and will be sending this issue to the appropriate Supervisor for an update at the end of the day. An update should be provided within 5 business days.

There is no record of an official pipe and/or grate inlet installation in the alley. The alley is unimproved so drainage is likely to be less than ideal. An alley petition and paving estimate can be prepared if the alley residents petition to have the alley built to city standards.

Staff have reviewed records which indicate the subject alley is designated as unimproved without formal installation of a stormwater conveyance system. This is a reflection of the way this subdivision was originally graded and constructed.

As previously stated, a petition may be requested to improve the alley to current design standards. I have asked the city representative to contact you via the email provided on the ticket.
