This becomes a horrible impassible obstacle for pedestrians nearly all winter long.

This problem exists along other parts of East 18th Street as well...between Cortelyou and Dorchester there are many large spots that do not drain due to sunken pavement/not leveled areas. This is a health hazard.

Please fix this. I cringe every time a child or dog has to wade through it. Yuck!

This corner is always a problem whenever it rains or snows. Sometimes there is a puddle there for weeks! The street and corner would look much nicer if it could get fixed.

I have reported this problem to 311 several times but nothing gets done. All the streets near this one have been repaved and it's time DOT repaves E 18th St as well.

This would not have gone ignored for so long if it was in a more affluent area. Social injustice anyone?

It's not only a driving/parking problem, but it creates a life threatening situation when people have to cross the street. They have to walk on the street (Beverly Rd.) because the puddle is very deep and wide. I cross this street with my 4 year olds and the puddle is too huge for me and THEM to jump over. Lately, it started to give out some unpleasant smells.

"Inspector reports area surrounding utility hardware and inside an out of guarantee utility trench broken out/sunken down 3”. Responsible party notified via phone and was issued an immediate corrective action. Inspector will re inspect and monitor."
