All ditches in grave need of revision, pond is and has been full. County started pumping this week but too late. No place for water to go, flooding everyone in and along SW 1st Place. Several house have fully flooded in this area in past. County has known about problems since 2004. Most of Tower Hill is now draining into Sunningdale. They have no retention ponds and County permitted Tower Hill overflow to be channeled into pond located in Westchester Manor which then quickly overflows in Sunningdale ditches flooding Sunningdale retention pond. Videos and written requests have been dated and filed starting 2016. County needs to have Tower Hill water retained on their property. County needs to clean out and repair both Sunningadle and Westchester Manor retention ponds. All ditches in Sunningadle must have maintenance. This has been an ongoing emergency problem since 2004.

Tropical Storm Elsa has created flooding issues all over the county. Public Works is currently handling storm related issues such as removing trees which are blocking roads, and closing roads which are flooded. A service request has been created addressing this issue. The storm water unit is being made aware of your concerns.

Thank you for the response. The issue is with the two culverts up the hill that are blocked. Water isn’t flowing through the culvert and instead is flooding our yard and our neighbors. Our driveway is also being washed away. I understand your priorities for critical issues. We haven’t had these issues before and we have lived here for 20 years.

We are being flooded by several channeled areas in Tower Hill. Our house is under water. This has never happened in the 47 years I have lived here except now twice a week ago after a 5 inch rain and today. I have videos of rivers coming from Tower Hill and flooding my property. This is due to county permitting office complex to dump their run off into Sunningdale. This must be stopped immediately.
