FULL of red and brown fungus,also lake lettuce. ALL wildlife is avoiding this and adjacent park is loaded with flies.

Very possibly this was "brought in" when soil along banks of this water way was hauled in by multiple truckloads, then removed. The banks were built up then removed and built up again over several months.
At my last count the dirt on south bank was bought in and removed then brought back at LEAST 6-7 times!!
Poor waste of tax dollars and for what?

Canal wasnt having these issues until City brought in and removed( 6-8 times) many truck loads of soil.
They built out and removed over and over and over!
Drainage needs to be maintained. Leaf lettuce needs to be killed w appropriate aquatic plant killer that doesnt effect wildlife

heavy equipment is BACK moving sand and dirt at TAX payer expense. It brings in algaes and flora thats killing waterway????????????????????
