The City of Alameda takes pride in its schools. It is such a shame that my children are unable to study because of the loud barking in the rear of 1816 Grand Street. There are three loud barking dogs in the rear of 1816 Grand Street. They bark for hours. The Animal Control Officer and APD have been made aware of the situation and they have told the owners that they aren't doing anything wrong. Something is seriously wrong with a city government that condones this type of behavior and favors the rights of dogs over the education of children.

The two Great Pyrenees in the cages in the rear of 1816 Grand Street began barking at 3:00 am this morning. They have been barking intermittently for three hours. Please conduct another welfare check to address the continuous dog barking.

Two caged dogs are barking all night in the rear of 1816 Grand Street again.

There were two large dogs barking and crying in the rear of 1816 Grand Street from 10 pm on the evening of July 3rd until 6 am on the morning of July 4th. Please conduct an animal welfare check on the animals and inspect their outdoor dog pen and cages.

There are three very loud Great Pyrenees barking from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The three large dogs are kept in a small enclosure in the rear parking lot of 1816 Grand Street in Alameda. The owners ignore the dogs' prolonged barking. APD was contacted.

The residents of 1816 Grand Street are maintaining four dogs again. One dog is in the residence and barks loudly all day and evening. The other three dogs are maintained in a metal enclosure in the rear parking lot of the two-unit residence. The four dogs have been barking loudly incessantly. The dog owners, Alameda Animal Control, and APD have been contacted about this ongoing issue.

A dog was barking loudly out of the rear window of 1816 Grand Street at 11:05 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022 for 30 minutes. The noise woke my children and family. If these reports are not reaching a person in authority, please forward them to the City Manager for action.

There is a medium white dog in a caged enclosure in the rear of the parking lot at 1816 Grand Street. The dog yelps and barks each night when it's owners are not home. The barking lasts from 7 until midnight until the owners return home.
