Fallen tree - no idea if this is a property owner issue or a utility company issue or city issue, but this tree has been down for months and it seems it should be taken care of in some way! If it is "legal" as-is, I suppose just close the issue as it is not a big deal - just seems like everyone would benefit more from it being taken to the yard waste recycling center for mulching. Thank you! (Note: this is along the walkway that would be an extension of Arnold)

Abandoned/unclaimed trash container for >2 wks. Says 3500 Wild Plum in it but they already have a trash can and I think that house may be vacant
  • 1100-1150 Welsh Avenue College Station, Texas - South Side Neighborhood Plan
This intersection is on my daily bicycle commute and for the past ~2weeks it seems to be much less able to detect me in the left turn lane (northwestbound on Welsh to southwestbound Holleman) and fails to call a green for a long time (usually requires a car coming up behind me to trigger). Please investigate for correct aiming/clarity of lens/sensitivity of the camera at your convenience. Thank you.

In Left turn lane (to turn onto Tarrow), detector failed to call a green but cycled through other traffic directions twice. Either camera is poorly aimed or not sensitive enough, or just bad luck.
  • 200-250 George Bush Drive West College Station, Texas - Texas A&M University
There is a dire need for a safe travel lane for bicycles on George Bush Dr W connecting Olsen Blvd to the bike paths on the other side of Wellborn Rd. and enforcement to keep cars from blocking/hitting bicyclists.
  • 1719 Welsh Avenue College Station, Texas - SouthSide Area
This light does not cycle automatically nor will it turn green to cross Southwest Pkwy unless either a car triggers it or a pedestrian pushes the crossing button. As a cyclist, it is out of the way to push the button, requires blocking of the sidewalks with a bicycle, and results in a prolonged green, unnecessarily delaying traffic traveling Southwest Pkwy. Installing a detector that works for bicyclists would allow us to trigger the green without prompting the longer "walk" signal.
  • 901 Bougainvillea Street College Station, Texas - Sun Meadows
Winds from the big thunderstorm a few weeks ago took down parts of this fence and left them on the sidewalk. The fence has remained in disrepair and pieces of the fence are still partially obstructing the sidewalk. The house may be vacant but it's been much too long and it's a safety hazard for people who use that sidewalk to access the walkway behind the houses. Rebuilding the fence may be an issue for the HOA to take up with the owners, but removing the broken fence should be addressed immediately.
  • 508 Holleman Drive College Station, Texas - SouthSide Area
Making the right turn from Holleman to Welsh (or crossing Holleman on south-bound Welsh) by bike requires either riding over very rough, irregular pavement or taking up the car lane to go around the damaged area.
  • 1108 Welsh Ave College Station, TX - SouthSide Area
I bike the entire length of Welsh twice a day during my commute. This pothole is bad enough that I have to go entirely into the car lane to circumvent the pothole - not a safe situation for me and frustrating for drivers in cars that come up behind me.

Pile of trash put out, smells like death. Trash pickup today (naturally) only emptied the overflowing bin. Not sure if there is recourse other than bulk pickup on Thursday; or maybe even that won't happen...??? Smells really bad.

This may be state DOT issue but thought I'd still try mentioning. Eastbound lanes were just repaved and just before fresh pavement transitions to old pavement, there are large areas the new pavement is failing. The pieces of pavement breaking loose get kicked up and could potentially damage windshields of other cars.
  • 1405 Corporation Pkwy Raleigh, NC 27604, USA - Raleigh Council District B
Dangerous left turn into shopping center should be prohibited. After making a left from new bern onto northbound Corporation Parkway, often people stop in the middle of the travel lane to make a left turn into the first entrance of the shopping center (technically the center turn lane is marked as a left turn lane for opposing traffic due to proximity to intersection). I know this isn't something that can be changed easily but I hope it will at least be taken into consideration as I think it is a safety issue.
