Will the south side/even side of Trumbull Street ever be done—between Orange and State? Several spaces are filled with huge piles of snow.

People did park on the odd side, but when there were open spots on the even side the snow was pushed into these large piles.

The walk light push button does not work at the soutwest corner of the Whitney/Church and Grove Street intersection—outside of Willoughby's.

This one is not burned out—it never goes out—at least not during the day when I have seen it and all other lights are off. It is not in a pedestrian-friendly area of State Street.

This bicycle wheel has been locked to this street sign since last summer. I understand these can be removed by some legal authority.

First, the bare sign posts were put in this tree well over two years ago and lost their signs the winter before last. Can they be removed?

Second, the large green highway sign directs traffic North on 95 to New London. When up the ramp you find a "Crossing over to I-95 North is prohibited".

The smaller Detour sign to the right here is too insignificant and many a driver stops at the fork in the road to interpret which sign should they follow? New London should be covered over.

This bicycle was being moved around from different signs and settled here over a week ago. No one knows who it belongs to. No one was ever seen anyone at the bicycle. We are wondering if it belongs to the person who was arrested for removing delivered packages from their porches up Orange Street last week.

This stack of 15 foot long vinyl siding was lost in the intersection of Orange and Trumbull Sts. as the truck made its turn. It did not stop. Two people helped move it out of the roadway onto the sidewalk.

Trumbull St has had it fine cracks sealed but the deeper cracks and holes are not. The whole intersection of Orange ST, Trumbull Street and Exit Three to/from I-91 has deteriorated to the point that large trucks bounce and bang through the intersection—sometimes 3 or 4 "BANGS" per trip.

Cars do OK over this. It is the trucks. It is the worst when they are empty.

This is an observation: Over the last 18 months there have been a minimum of 4 traffic accidents at the southeast corner of the Orange-Trumbull intersection--all happening on a Sunday. There was another one this Sunday morning. Besides the drivers just driving through here too damn fast, is there anything with the traffic lights that needs to be adjusted when the traffic here is light and drivers are still running into each other?

This happens all the time: panhandlers stand at the Orange/Trumbull Streets intersection and push the WALK signal at every interval. If there are more than two, as often the case, they have a colleague, standing next to the walk button who then presses the WALK button for whomever is working the traffic. It has happened if there are anywhere from 1 to 7 panhandlers working the intersection at a time.
    It is very lucrative.

    My obversations:

    1. If Traffic & Parking wants to keep the intersection clear and the traffic moving during peak times there should be some enforcement here.
    2. If you want to get through this intersection quicker, stop handing out your monies to these people. Find another way to help these people—there are other ways
    3. One of the panhandlers arrives on the scene everyday wearing a different outfit—usually color co-ordinated. How is that possible for a homeless person?

The "No Turn on Red" sign for cars coming up Orange St toward Trumbull St is posted on the stop line well back from the intersection and pedestrian crossing. Because of the angle of Trumbull to Orange Street and because a driver cannot see west down Trumbull St, cars pull well out over the pedestrian crossing where they still cannot see cars coming toward Orange from the west.

That "No Turn on Red was placed there years before the green traffic light arms and poles were put there a few years ago.

There needs to be a "No Turn on Red" sign up on the arm next to the RED/Green right turn arrow.

there was an accident two weeks ago and there was a near-mis a few days ago.

Just recently the traffic signals were worked on timing wise. Pedestrian crossing times were shortened. Now this intersection is "faster" than the intersections beyond at Whitney and Temple and traffic is always backed up into the Orange/Trumbull intersection.

These two lamps have been flashing for weeks, if not for months. I noticed them a few weeks ago and surprised to see they were still at it last night,

There are 2 steel posts in this tree well left over from signage to direct I-95 traffic to the best route to I-95 North (Noth, as they had it). There were two signs at Orange and Trumbull Streets until the winter storms this past winter. One now is stuck over at the northwest corner of the intersection. The one from these posts was pushed around for days by snow plows and eventually disintegrated. Since the posting of signs here has not occurred here for months, shouldn't these fence posts be taken away?
