I am concerned about both. They are hanging out in our neighbor, smoking and going in and out of the underground water main (very large opening under the street). They are causing some traffic problems in an area where there is a curve in the road as well.

I was driving through the area and I nearly hit one of the students who was on a skateboard. I stopped to speak to them but they went on the side of the road and disappeared near the chain link fence at 130 Longview Lake Drive.

What happens when one of these students overdose or get hit by a car? Everyone I see is not concerned about the health and welfare of our community

As a parent who have a child at Enloe and he was skipping school in the neighborhood, I would appreciate the effort of the neighbors pointing this out for action

Our youth need to stay out of the street. Just wait until there is an accident.

Safety for all is MOST Important. Glad to know that my neighbors are concerned about the safety of the students and us who drive in our neighborhood at a safe speed.

What a great partnership this could be if all parties, especially the school would address taking care of where you go to school.

What time of day do you see them?

usually between 12:30 a.m. and the 2:45 p.m. Often they are there with lunches, bottles, etc.

So that is where all of that broken glass on Longview Lake Drive by the lake is coming from. On yesterday several students were on the bank of the lake, fishing a basketball out of the lake. One fell in and could not swim.

This has been referred to the Southeast District Station for review, an update will be posted once we hear back from them.

Victoria Place owns the Upper Longview Lake and needs to be notified, particularly if someone is falling in that can't swim or littering is commited. The debris that collects at the spillway is horrible...this was supposed to be dealt with when the lake was refurbished. The trespass in the drain needs to be addressed by the property owner of that, 204 Longview Lake Dr. (it would be wonderful. if they would post "no trespassing" at that location). This has been going on for years. Finally, Enloe HS is responsible for the whereabouts of their students that are leaving campus. There must be a rule or two regarding where the students can eat their lunch, certainly not on someone's private property. I would like to see this issue resolved fully, the trespass, the littering and the safety concerns of students being in the street, instead of using the sidewalks on either side of Bertie.

Also the Enloe kids have been skipping school in mornings and hanging out at the Culpepper park smoking weed, burning holes in the picnic table, and littering. It would be great if a patrol car could start driving around the area.
