This intersection is increasingly dangerous. There are students attending 3 different schools crossing daily. There is currently 2 students catching a bus at the Adams/Oglethorpe corner. Due to the increase of residents and people utilizing the park, the number of cars parking on Oglethorpe has greatly increased. When cars are parked on the street, cars on Adams cannot see cars on Oglethorpe. I witness numerous near collisions DAILY. The traffic on Oglethorpe approach the intersection at a high rate of speec, making stopping for pedestrians, dogs and other cars difficult. There is a definite need for a light/4 way stop with pedestrian cross walks.

Very dangerous intersection for adults and children trying to cross Oglethorpe. Ideally, we would get a flashing light (with a button to push when one wants to cross) as well as painted crosswalk.

Usually there's at least a "hey, we see this". Why the inaction for so long? Should this maybe go the route of news stations/paper?
