This is true, allow me to clarify. Usually pushing the button activates the all-phase pedestrian walk sign after S. Frontage traffic stops (but not after York traffic stops). This no longer happens and upon receiving a red light of S. Frontage the York traffic immediately gets a green light. Further the little red light on top of the button and the "wait" audio tone that usually accompany pushing the button no longer activate. The buttons on the other corners seems to be operating fine

I was able to get the all phase crossing today after pushing the button at the South corner of York and South Frontage (right next to Harkness/Medical School) after the red light at South Frontage at 10 am and 12:30 pm . Please post again if you are still not getting the all phase after traffic stops on South Frontage. Thanks for your diligence.

I tested the crossing on Friday night and Sunday morning and was unable to activate the all-phase pedestrian signal on the south corner. When you tested were you sure that somebody else had not activated the signal on one of the other corners? This has happened to me on several occasions. However if someone else does not activate I am stuck at the south corner of York. Did you happen hear an audible response when you pushed, or see the red LED light activate above the button? Thanks

I got an audible response when I pushed it, where it says "Wait, wait". I will pass this along to my colleagues so they can vote on this issue so that the city will address it.
