Description
There is a large iron sculpture in front of North York City Hall/Centre which is badly deteriorating. It incorporates 14 life size iron silhouettes of dancers in motion. The last few years it began to rust at the feet, but this year it is starting to creep up the legs of the figures. This is a repair/maintenance which necessitates minimal work and cost...simply scrape off, sand, and apply rust paint. Sadly, this beautiful and obviously expensive sculpture has not been checked for the the past few years. It should be repaired before serious damage is done to a fine and valuable piece of art. I have several more photos which better illustrate the damage and neglect if you email me:
