Pedestrians BEWARE!

Pieces moved to side of road.

Can the city actually do something better to curb speeding on this street than put up another flimsy sign? This is at least the third sign I've seen get obliterated by a speeding car on Swan St. (the first time, incidentally, it was hit by a police car).

Even more frightening that this street is routinely crossed by parents and their children, given that one of these signs + crosswalks is only steps away from a daycare

This is at the crosswalk at Elm, not where the daycare is at Hamilton, though they both get flattened on a regular basis. I agree that something less run-overable would good.

I would love to see a patrol car daily around this area. I routinely get almost ran over at the intersection of south swan street and Hamilton depsite having the pedestrian right away sign there. Especially during afternoons when I'm trying to take my son to the park.

I rarely cross at Swan and Hamilton. Too scary.
