It's irrelevant whether someone goes to the store or not. No one wants to put people at risk of being burned alive b/c they can't get out.

i think the sincerity of this person's report would hold a little more weight if it were true. there's been a rash of these kinds of reports on establishments frequented and owned by minorities in this part of raleigh recently and i'm afraid they're all based in the ongoing gentrification of the area and serve no purpose but to punish the locals rather than genuine concern. it's all dog whistling

Well there are a lot of things wrong with your statement. The newcomers are locals...they own homes, they live here, they work here...they are very much so local. They may however, not be willing to overlook buildings in disrepair...as they shouldn't. If it's not an acceptable condition in Five Points...it's not an acceptable condition on New Bern Ave.

So to all those thinking newcomers are "punishing" the minority community...I would guess it would be better for you to work together, otherwise you may find yourselves pushed out. Accepting a lower standard for Southeast has to end.

This is inaccurate information. The City is not contemplating any changes to the use of SeeClickFix. We encourage all citizens to use this tool. Our record of response to SCF inquiries is quite good, with a median time to resolve of about 3 days. Some items take longer, but this tool has been valuable to the citizens as well as to our organization and we just want to make sure that's clear.

Seems a so-called church called "Love Wins" Ministries is spamming the site with these bogus comments. Moderators, please consider blocking by IP, this group is angry and taking it out on us and the city of Raleigh.
