Description

Vehicles leave Hackett Ave and turn onto Sand Creek Rd when exiting Colonie High. There are 2 lanes, a left turn only lane and a right turn only lane. However, if you really want to you can go straight - this leads into the parking lot shared by a few small businesses. In other words, it is possible to have a green light, and a road leading straight ahead into the parking lot entrance, but neither the sign on your lane or the sign on the lane next to you permit you to go straight. This is a unique design.

I'm not sure if this is the city's jurisdiction, Hackett Ave goes through Colonie High grounds and maybe Colonie High makes the decisions about the road or something. But someone ought to fix this because it's really confusing.
