The traffic control staff has traffic signals synchronized on certain roadways in downtown in order of priority. The roadways with the highest priority are Dawson, McDowell, Morgan, and Edenton. We synchronized the other roadways in downtown the best we can within these constraints. The staff has made a timing adjustment at the Lenoir/Fayetteville intersection during the AM peak to help traffic flow better between the two blocks mentioned. However, drivers on Lenoir will come to stop at a different intersection downstream.
