Description

This property owner spread gravel over his driveway to fill the ruts that would hold and retain water after every rainstorm. This is at best a temporary solution and now results in gravel tracked over the sidewalk instead of mud. Eventually the same ruts will form again and the problem will return.
This property owner does not understand that vehicles driving over his driveway and into his backyard have caused the unpaved earth to become hard packed resulting in very bad drainage and causing pools of standing water to form which take several days to drain.
Standing water is a health hazard which can result in disease carrying mosquitos as well as bacterias like giardia and cryptosporidiosis, and e. coli and tetanus.
This property owner needs to install dry wells and pave his parking lot properly. I've included photographs of the backyard after a rainstorm and also the driveway.

also asked...
