This intersection desperately needs right turn lanes added (for south bound traffic) as one person going straight through the intersection stuck at a red light in the only forward moving lane holds up the entire line of traffic, many of whom just want to turn right. Now that a turn signal has been added, even less south or west bound traffic have the opportunity to get through, creating a hazard as many drivers get desperate and run the light, which happens frequently. It's irresponsible and dangerous.

I have contacted Alberta Transportation and am awaiting a response.

This issue falls under the jurisdiction of Alberta Transportation. Please contact them directly at 780-538-5310. Road maintenance of the by-pass is not the responsibility of The City of Grande Prairie and all reports should go to them directly.
