So you see no safety concern with school kids walking along a sidewalk that is being passed by trucks & cars by less that one foot? I understand that that there may be no legal recourse, but the speed bumps were installed to improve safety, to slow traffic. Now they simply seem to be causing those that wish to drive in excess of the 30 km/h speed limit, closer to the curb to avoid the speed bump. I don't see this as a baseless concern; the safety measures put in place are making the area less safe for pedestrians.

There is not huge gap between the end of the bump and the curb. Driving to the side of the bump doesn't allow me personally to drive faster over the bump. This is much to do about nothing. If the city trans planners are concerned, build a wall.
