Officer Bruno stopped by there yesterday and will be doing so today as well to begin an educational campaign to curb these violations. He believes these issues occur at all times of day. In many of our taxi zones, subjects extend the zones and often do not pay for the meters. Similar enforcement by Officer Bruno has curtailed violations next to the Convention Center. He is planning on doing the same here over the next week.

Following this educational component, he will issue charges as necessary. Sgt. Marx plans to send out a district wide e-mail to ask for additional enforcement once this educational period has finished.
