These potholes are awful - I realize it's not a city issue, but perhaps the City can force the school districts hand to make these repairs. Cars swerve all over trying to avoid them, and it's only a matter of time before someone hits another car trying to do so.

This street is just a hazard and an embarrassment to Vallejo. Two schools and the Loma Vista Farm uses this street! It needs to be repaired!

Street is the worse in the entire city! Horrible potholes, missing pieces of street. Maybe just maybe, the school district will come by and do a patch job which won't last the entire week! I have been complaining about this sorry street for the past 7 years! Not only are there huge potholes, there is always trash or furniture being dumped on the street or on the sidewalk by the street. There has been a brown couch set on the sidewalk since the end of December! There needs to be cameras and signs warning folks about dumping on that street. I want this issue left open until the city and/or school district actually repairs this street! They need to quit patching it up, which they do during the time the parents are dropping off their students! Please have someone fix this major eyesore/problem!

Contact that superintendent and have her come out with her board members and others who should be dealing with this street issue and walk up and down that street! There are three schools that use this street! Three! She needs to get up under whomever and get this fixed. This street needs to be shut down during spring break, torn completely up and redone!

I totally agree that the VCUSD should be ashamed of themselves, for everything !

The Vallejo City Unified School District is mismanaged. They led one of the largest school bailouts in California history. The public's trust in the City of Vallejo is tarnished and besides, I think the State took over the school district anyway. So you could only guess what that means. It's going to be neglected. Imagine what education and impression the children receive compared to other schools in the Bay Area. What a shame. It's no wonder crime, loitering, and homelessness in Vallejo is high. Back to the topic of the road. I think the solution is to get help from the State of California because the VCUSD is not going to fix this road issue and if they get funds for this project it will probably be mismanaged or misplace. I'm an Alumni of Loma Vista, Solano Junior High, and Vallejo Senior High. For over 40 years these roads have never been replaced. Growing up in this town has reminded me why this city is now in such turmoil. It all begins here at the schools and what the children see and experience during their upbringing. Pave the road for our children and the future will bright!!

And on a side note, the Principal at Cooper School refuses to raise the American Flag some days that the school is open, wonder why and if it's board policy ? don't want to be micro-agressive against some
