The old Reservoir Middle School (now Denbigh Early Childhood Center) has flashing school zone signs, but no end school zone signs. These should be added so drivers know when they are allowed to speed back up to regular speed.

The Department of Engineering has received your concern and assigned it to a staff engineer for review and recommendations. If you would like to track the progress or be notified directly once the evaluation is complete please contact our office.
However, be advised that as per the Federal guidelines, “The end of an authorized and posted school speed zone shall be marked with a standard Speed Limit sign showing the speed limit for the section of highway that follows or with an END SCHOOL ZONE sign.”
