When someone is planning to dig in an area, they call "DigSafe" and request that all underground services be marked out. BED uses red paint to designate where our underground electrical service is. If the area is overhead we usually mark "OK" near the dig location.
I will check with the locators to see who requested the digsafe and make note of it when I close this ticket.

It was nice talking with you today and I want to apologize for the misunderstanding with regard to the location of the construction and for going into your backyard. As we discussed, the house number was represented to us incorrectly, however by law we are required to mark our underground services when requested by digsafe. Your home is an overhead service which is why we maked "OK" in the area that we believed to be the construction site. The paint will fade relatively quickly, particularly with all of this rain coming. Thank you for being so understanding.
