We are going to need emergency vehicles if nothing is done about that strip of road. HOA is a signed agreement between neighbors who have decided it was best for their neighborhood and no one is suggesting that here and it has nothing to do with this problem. In North Raleigh, the city has taken the necessary steps to make the streets safe to walk on, and the emergency vehicles do not struggle there. In this neighborhood, we have children that walk to and from school, we have families pushing strollers, and we have people walking dogs. For that reason, I think an assessment is worth it.
