Gray Ave is not being maintained by the Town. It is impassable now. Someone has placed a traffic cone in the middle of one of the deeper potholes. There are several potholes from one end to the other. I understand the Town is severely short staffed and are way behind and overwhelmed but this is pretty serious. Someone is going to get hurt.

The plan is to get the drainage repaired, grind it, then pave it. Only one section of the drainage has been repaired (there are 3 total). These will be repaired over the summer in preparation for fall paving.

I know the potholes can be filled but will they be filled?? The pothole with the traffic cone in it is very deep and dangerous. Someone is going to get hurt especially a cyclist who falls into it.

Some of the potholes on Gray Ave have been filled last week. Since the DPW Admin on this site has not said it was the DPW that performed the work, I'm assuming someone who lives on the street finally filled the holes themselves.

Well since the Town refuses to assume responsibility, It had to be someone else who filled the potholes.
