Description

This location and issue has been reported several times and closed due to being forwarded to another agency, but has yet to receive the attention that is obviously due. What appears to be a sinkhole could be caused by moving water underground, or any other reason, and is getting worse. There is no apparent "hole" below the surface, just a sunken area of roadway that is in the travel pathway of a rather busy street. There is a plastic traffic barrel that has been placed NOT by the city, but a concerned citizen to warn travelers; however, it is not sufficient to protect "we the people" from accident, injury or death. Please do not only open and accept this issue, but follow through with the ticket and close only when it is truly resolved.
