Description
I don’t know who thought a three way stop at a multilane four way intersection was a good idea but they have never driven in Raleigh for any period of time or they would know things not something the average Raleigh driver is capable of handling. I can’t believe there isn’t an accident here on a daily or weekly basis. No one seems to know when to stop and for how long or how yielding and right-of-way works in this configuration. Heaven forbid there be a pedestrian involved. Either a four-way stop or, if traffic must flow off Wake Forest Rd, a traffic circle would be much safer. Largely, Raleigh drivers can’t handle traffic circles either but, in this case with an oncoming volume of traffic and being in between shopping centers, it actually makes the most sense.
