Per City Code (§323-21), it is the responsibility of all property owners to remove snow and ice from the sidewalks adjacent to their property within 24 hours of the end of a snowstorm. If 24 hours has passed since the end of the snowstorm and the sidewalk remains uncleaned, city workers will clear the area in question, leaving behind a fine for the property owner.
