I have no proof that this was fixed

No proof That anything was ever done about this issue. I want proof that he stopped recieving funds from the government for running a half way house. My understanding is this is illegal in my neighborhood.

Shari, if u were truly concerned about a half-way house in your neighborhood you would be submitting complaints about the one directly accross the street from your house located at 1507 Conner and not a block from your front door at 1451. Multi-Family properties like 1451 can rent to whom they want to and are well within their rights to receive goverment funds for doing so. You should read the Fair Housing Laws and City of Dallas Zoning Regulations before you start making false and untrue accusations based IMO, soley out of revenge and retaliation.

Shari, the half-way house located in a single-family home located directly across the street from you that you have not complained to the city as in the other one a block from your front door; you may want to check the sex offender registry.

Noticed that the FACTS concerning the halfway house directly across the street from the complainant, which they were so concerned about a block from their house, did not motivate them to complain to City. However, it does appear that the information motivated them to bring out their gardening tools and daisy-dukes and work in the flowerbeds quite often.

Shari, noticed your NEXT DOOR neighbor has opened a car repair shop complete with signage and all. Dont see you complaining about that...you are such a hypocrite.

David, we started to and decided that we would not wish the same grief as we suffered on anybody. We are thankful for our place being clean and more like a real residence. The only regret we had is that you had to use the city to get us to comply. If we have concerns for our neighbors we should be able to just tell them our concerns. I never had a chance to directly respond to your concerns. I do listen and respond in a respectful way. I did directly address this new business with the new neighbor. He ignored it. We knew you would notice and exercise your leverage. We are still listening and if you have any concerns you dont need the city to address them, we will hear you.

David, just now read the other post. We were unaware of the other neighbors and there issues. The only reason you got singled out is because the code compliance officer admitted that the process and leverage was mean and unfair and they implied a course of action. We would never had known or discovered any of your would be indiscretions had we not been pushed up against the wall. I do apologize for that and any hypocrisies and we do not want to hold anybody to a higher standard than we hold ourselves. Nothing is more valuable than peace and the ability to preserve it. I am helping Shari to share the same values. Please forgive us for our indiscretions. We do not want to be out of order.
