There is a large dead tree surrounded on 3 sides by fences sitting in the southeastern corner of an empty lot located at 902 E Edenton St. It's an eyesore and should be removed.

This tree appears to be on private property. The City cannot go on private property to remove trees. If this is not the case please reopen.

Thank you for removing the tree. Unfortunately, the removal team damaged our fence significantly, breaking boards and leaving a gap through which our dog can escape. What can be done to resolve this issue?

I would like to know what can be done to resolve the issue of the tree removal team damaging our fence. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for opening this back up. The tree that was removed was located in the middle of three fences all located on City Property/right of way. The fence section is located on an unmaintained alley segment adjacent to a City owned lot. The fence section needed to be removed to allow access to the tree for removal. The fence section had been previously damaged possibly by the tree prior to removal. We ask that you refer this to Risk Management at (919) 996-2240 as they deal with these issues.
