There are City Ordinances that PROHIBIT lights from being directed out of any property, BUT it's YALE and they feel exempt from all rules and laws in New Haven-
I suggest trying to find the construction company foreman/supervisor or go to Facility Management or Presidents Office to find out who handles Yale construction projects and go from there. Good Luck because I doubt you will get anywhere, but If that doesn't work a few large rocks may remedy the issue.

Try calling traffic and Parking and let them know lights are blinding drivers at the intersections and can't see pedestrians.

Thank you for the comments and support on this. Good idea about going to the construction management firm. I believe it's Turner Construction. Does it seem to anyone else that the lights have gotten better the last few days? Not pointing outward so much and not on quite so much? Curious if anyone else has sensed improvement.

It's better, all right--though now that long block is almost too dark; it's a bit creepy walking there after dark.
