More than 5 months after this issue was submitted and 4 months after it was acknowledged by the city, no action has been taken. New Haven: the city that doesn't work for its taxpayers. Need new leadership. Can't wait until the next election to clean house.

This issue was reported more than 6 months ago and has still not been resolved, despite multiple inquiries. Reflects poorly on city's attitude and respect for its tax payers.

"Issue closed" lol .... does this mean "gilltm" had his stolen trash cans replaced or was the issue simply swept under the rug? Hmmm.

Frankly I miss Toni Harp.

Response from Public Works is unacceptable. 2 of our trash cans were stolen by the city trash haulers in October 2022 and have not been resplaced. As per Captante, this issue was not resolved. Plan to vote out current administration given poor and worsening city services.

Dear Executive Administrative Assistant: they were both personal toters that we had purchased. They had been used for several weeks without any problem when the New Haven city refuge workers tossed them into the garbage truck on consecutive weeks. I apologize for the delayed response.

Claim was submitted more than a month ago without any acknowledgement of receipt, let alone resolution. Problem was first reported nearly a year ago, and city has still not taken any action--just provides apologies for its delayed responses and poor performance. Completely unsatisfactory.

Did you submit a claim with the City Clerk's Office? That office handles all reimbursement claims. There phone number is 203-946-8339. They do no monitor this site and will not see the request you placed on SCF.
