I live in new st and its getting harder every single day to find parking space is their a way to permantly reserve a 1or 2 parking spaces infront of your house with house number painted on the floor between the parking line or if we could just mark the parking spaces for people dont be double or triple parking sorry im trying to explain my self as best as i can who would i need to talk to to get this done... Someone told me that i could do a residential parking patition but i dont know im just tierd of coming home and having to park all the way of the end of the block when i live right in the middle i really dont know what to do

Im your city council ward rep. People have brought this up before. The answer has always been "its a public street."
I would encourage you to attend council if you can. They are the 2nd and 4th mondays. If you can't get there, I understand. I'll see what answers i can get for you.
Just out of curiosity....we have parking permits in our code books. would you be for or against residents having 2 spots each in all residential areas?
