Description

This city of Albany dgs Sanitation truck ignored the yield sign in Washington Park and also ran a red light at Henry Johnson Boulevard and Washington avenue. People did honk at the vehicle and were ignored. This is a routine issue with many of the dgs vehicles who apparently don't believe they have to follow traffic laws. This is not only dangerous for the driver and the individuals clinging to the side of the trucks but it's also dangerous to other drivers and pedestrians. Dgs, parking enforcement, and police patrol cars should not be above the law when it comes to traffic safety and parking legally unless it's police responding to an emergency call.
