Significant hazard; the bike path that crosses Miacomet Road on Surfside Road has no stop sign for the bike path. There was at one point STOP painted on the bike path, but this has with time degraded and is not visible. Considering this is a four-way intersection, it is a very serious issue; a lot of traffic crosses from Surfside Drive to Miacomet Road, and with just car traffic alone this is very difficult and dangerous. Add bicyclists/ pedestrians on the bike path that are oblivious and cross without realizing that a stop is imperative, it is a recipe for disaster. Too many near misses to continue with the status qou. Can the word be repainted onto the path? Can a stand-up stop sign be placed?
