Description

The back patio of a PHA house at 1606 Catharine St has a weed that's taking over our neighborhood!!! It has grown into a huge tree. Its seeds have dropped into other back patios nearby, which have created more undesired growth. The large leaves have made our back patios in the shade 24/7, killing plants and flowers and creating a mess. Please remove the source, the mother of all weed trees, growing behind 1606 Catharine. Thank you.

It appears someone cut down the trees that were blocking the firemen's egress in between 1613 and 1615 Webster St but no one has cut the huge one in the back patio of 1606 Catharine St, an abandoned property.

It's been almost 2 years since I posted this issue and PHA has still not come out to take down the overgrown weed tree in the rear patio of 1606 Catharine St. My neighbors and I have trimmed what we can reach and filed multiple complaints to PHA with no success...it has grown back and PHA has done NOTHING. What else can we do?
