We need a paved road to drive on!
Its not so hard for the government to take my money to fix other roads!
Why is it so hard to pave a county road???????

Is Dekalb County Going to take care of this issue????
It is not FAIR we have the right of fair taxes and services from the taxes they collect from us!

The water pipe broke down also on the main road and the government denied the responsibility?!?
Until when?????
This is a Dekalb County road and we pay from our pockets to fix it !!!
Until when ????
Its an irresponsible local government !

When is Dekalb County going to answer?

The water pipes exposed, the water bill is nearly $400 a month we need it and we need the street to be
fixed we've had enough, what kind of responsible are these?
We need a solution and we need it now, now, now... NOW

This is a shame, I ve contacted the Board of Commissioners about this since the Department did not answer, and the WHITE HOUSE just to let them know how bad is Roads and Drainage is, and this is a sample of what I said please DO NOT ANSWER, you never did!

Dekalb county Roads and Drainage is not taking the responsibility to pave an official county road I called "planning & design" they said we do not have a plan for this road & dekalb county "roads & drainage" said its not their responsibility but I spoke to Mr. Jim McKenny cell# 4042974583 I told him that the unpaved road is forming channels preventing us from driving down the street to reach our homes he promised to pour some curbs to control the water flow but he disappeared & never answer my calls anymore please come take a look at a COUNTY ROAD in the USA.
Few weeks ago, we had a major piping damage to the water and sewer on kelly street, we contacted the Dekalb county about the issue, they did not take responsibility and they did not do anything about it, they said that they cannot service this road! They are stealing taxes from us, my tax bill was almost $2000 this year, I paid it and I dont even have service, I am wondering if the Federal Government should get involve and take charges agains Dekalb County! Plus the water bill now is over $150 we call again they said to check arround the house and the home piping, I got a plumber and checked the home piping but nothing! I dont know what else to do, what kind of services is this!
I am also worried about the water and sewer piping, if both are broken and they are mixed up, than the Dekalb County is delivering to us sewer to the house, we have kids and we care about ourselves if they dont! We demand a quick and effective solution and right now, its not only one house, mine and few houses down the street "KELLY ST" OFFICIAL DEKALB COUNTY ROAD
I need your help, I already sent a complaint thru BBB, I dont really know who is the responsible that I have to speak to, they turned me down and they keep turning me down since 2011, but I had enough I need a solution now, if you cannot help please get me in touch with the head of Dekalb County because I dont want to stay quiet anymore, thank you

Lies and promises no more!!!

Attached the Google Street View in Sep 2016, 2.5 years later. Looks like still nothing has happened.

I sent a message to the Atlanta Regional Commission to ask for more details around this street. Trying to figure out who owns it. If it's Dekalb County and they're responsible for fixing it and doing nothing about it, here is the escalation process as I understand it:

1. Try calling the county again to check in
2. If don't get a good response, complain to your elected officials at the County or State level (here's a good resource: https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials)
3. If you don't get the right response there, get in contact with local media outlets (try WABE & Channel 2)

You might also want to try submitting this through ATL311. They may be able to point you to the right resources.
