I have lived on this corner of Highview ave and Forest Hills Rd.for 35 years and have been dealing with these illegal u-turns for as long as i have resided here. I have had the police here for years to try to stop these violators (neighbors) and because of political ties nothing is being done about this ongoing,dangerous problem. The traffic division did a survey and determined that it is in fact illegal to make u-turns at this intersection put still refuse to install a no u-turn sign on the pole where this occurs constantly 24 hours a day in front of my home. I also had a private company come in about 10 years ago and had a survey done at my expense which also determined that it is an illegal intersection to make these dangerous u-turns by these same illiterate neighbors. Because of their political ties with the city of West Haven nothing has been done to stop this ongoing issue. I have had the police dept. here numerous times over the years, with dozens of police reports made out to no avail. My file is 3 inches thick on this problem. I need Help. Thanking you in advance
