    People are driving very fast on Ballena Blvd. The drivers are oblivious to the pedestrians, children, pets and bikers. The city needs to take a hard look at installing speed bumps on this road.     My family and I are living residents at Ballena Boulevard. We’ve been living here for about 3 years now and for the past 3 years noticed how dangerous drivers are on our street. Since the street leads to the Bay, a lot of cars tend to drive extremely fast and there are also several people who come to park at the Bay and smoke substances like marijuana. Drivers tend to drive at least 35-45mph on this 25mph street. There are several children and elders who live on this street and it just seems too dangerous. It would really protect the residents living on this street if there were some speed bumps. I hope you can take this request into consideration. Please let me know.

    I reported these storm downed street tree branches on 3/24/23. The report was identified as ISSUE 14260613. Public Works closed the case, noting the branches had been removed. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN REMOVED. They are on the street obstructing two parking spaces.

    There is ever increasing traffic at ever increasing speed on Ballena Blvd from the stop sign down to marina parking. Getting sensors deployed to get hard data would be great and ultimately a couple of speed bumps seem appropriate. There are many people walking and biking here and its not uncommon to see cars doing 50mph+.
