Description
Sewer Lift Station that is situated within residential housing neighborhood emits obnoxious odor too frequently. Emissions of odor most noticeable during warmer seasons such as spring, Summer, Fall. Symptoms also include back-pressure into nearby residential plumbing causing backflow of gas and sometimes fluids! This lift station seems to not be configured as others that are situated in more prominent areas. The questions we have are: 1). What odor control/elimination processes are utilized at this site?; 2). why not adequate technical method(s) utilized; and 3). Why is it that the residents' concerns and complaints regarding obnoxious odors to-date, have not been acknowledged by HOA and Public Officials, adequately addressed, and corrected?
