**EXPOSED ELECTRICAL WIRE **HIGH VOLTAGE ⚡ IN THE PARK FIELD ADJACENT TO THE LIGHT POST. DANGEROUS LARGE HOLE TO FALL INTO GET ELECTROCUTED. 16 feet from the fence between the pine tree and light post.

No lights for soccer practice. When we asked the coaches they said there is an electrically issue and had to shut off the lights. If you look from the school entrance, it's the fourth tall stadium lights. There are small cones around it. Hopefully it will be fixed before or practice tomorrow

There is an approximate 1ft missing piece of curbing along the main interior schoolyard sidewalk at the Linden school. (It is right next to the site where a lamp post recently toppled down and also has a cone covering the raw metal edges and electrical connections. Hopefully this lamp post situation is also on a priority list to be addressed.)
The curb piece has been missing since before the start of school. The school does try to keep a cone in the spot for safety. However, most of the time, the cone gets moved about or goes missing altogether. My concern is the safety hazard this situation presents. It could easily cause a fall, but also the exposed edges of the remaining curb leave a sharp and pointed surface that could potentially cause a very serious injury. I'm hoping that the piece of curbing can be replaced/repaired certainly before winter when slippery winter conditions will increase the risks.

A street light is knocked over in front of Linden. This could be a safety issue for children, especially if it is still electrified.

Toddler playground still not repaired after nearly 2 years. Missing gate. Broken fences. Dangerous and not secure especially with children hanging on the broken fence for fun

Yellow jacket hives along fence surrounding hockey rink at the linden Steam academy. There are multiple hives throughout the fence and many yellow jackets flying in and out of the hives

There is a pothole heading east on Hunting Street after the motel and before the park.

There are now 2 broken street lamps along the inside loop drive at the Linden STEAM Academy. The one closest to the parking lot was not replaced but has been capped off. I reported this on see-click-fix over a year ago in August of 2017. The 2nd light is up closer to the top of the loop, and simply has an orange barrel over the base and exposed/capped wires. For obvious safety reasons, the power has been cut to the broken lamp bases, but this also effects several of the other outdoor lights. We recently had an outdoor evening event at the school. We thought it would be OK as it got dark because soccer was using the field and we were told the field lights should go on. However, they did not go on, and the school event was left in total darkness, other than the light from the entryway under the bell. (Only 3 of the 6 of those lights were working.)
The PTO would like to do another outdoor event in later October. However, the lack of lighting poses significant safety concerns. We are hoping that something can be done to restore the outdoor lighting at Linden STEAM Academy.

It's a shame to call this park our "neighbohood park" due to the condition it's in. Seems like the city has never set foot in here ever since this playground/school was built.
Malden charging their resident's thousand of dollars in excise and realstate taxes, has their public spaces looking awful especially because our kids play here.

Dilapidated Flags. POW/MIA Flag barely hanging on and American Flag starting to show wear. Please replace.

We should do some thing here before our kid got hit. cars keep parked here and blacking the crosswalk between 2:25 PM - 2:35 PM to pick up their kids but it also a lot kids need to cross this busy crossing at this time. Also few drivers enter from Plainfield Ave to Wescott St. and parked been seen ever week. Thanks

Bench is broken in pieces, witness children play with sharp edge metal. Potentially hazardous situation.
