Cherry Legacy

This has been an outstanding issue for over 2 years. The Mellington Dr. alley has multiple potholes and is dangerous to drive over. I've lived at 2552 Collingwood for 2 years and have been waiting for this to be repaired because my parking lot is located in the back of the building and only accessible through Mellington Dr. Multiple requests have been made, and the city has ignored the requests. It's a shame the city only focuses on areas where there is a higher income/more tax paying citizens versus areas where there is a high concentration of poverty and disenfranchisement. Although my personal situation is different from those of my neighbors, it is difficult to not be frustrated at a system that only seems to care about Franklin Park and the surrounding areas.

The property has looked like this for years and there are about 36 work requests to have something done Dating back to last March

Its hard to understand why ENGAGE TOLEDO does not respond to these request of : Trash tires Old building materials at 119 General deteriorated conditions at 103 and Boarded up Fire damaged at 109 Mettler Street . Numerous Work Requests since BEFORE Summer of 2016

Blue Dodge pickup, full of trash, no plates, parts hanging down as though the engine was pulled. Located on Batavia St. At the side of the building.

There is a wide pothole where 436 Melrose Ave intersects with the alley driveway(Mellington) May need grading instead of pothole repair.

Curb damaged, dirt erodes into the street, clogging sewers, creating filth in the road.

The property has been abandoned for over 3 years. No one has lived in the property for over three years. The gas, electric, and water has been disconnected for over 3 years. All the windows are broken and missing from the back of the home. Animals including rats, possums, and raccoons are living in the abandoned home. The paint has fallen off and most of the wood is now exposed and is a serious fire threat..especially to neighbors. Homeless people go inside and outside the house on a consistent basis. The lead paint is blowing all over the immediate neighborhood and is a serious health hazard. Wood is missing from the entire structure and you can see directly into the home. The grass and bushes are all overgrown and there is trash littered all over the backyard of the property. The home is a serious fire risk with all the wood exposed and is also a health concern with all the rats running into and out of the home.

My neighbor has a brother that constantly sits in his very loud truck at all hours of the day and night. He has been seen arguing with a half naked women in the street as well as been seen getting out of his truck and pulling his pants up with a women also in the car. He is alway loitering outside and has is loud truck running at all hours of the day and night. I have been woken up at 12am, 1am, 3am etc from him just starting his truck and sitting out there for extended periods of time. I have also had to pick up garbage and cigarette butts from my yard where he parks his truck.

previous request 508763. This was investigated and no issues were found???? There is a whole tree in the driveway and backyard of 444 Melrose that someone from 2542 Collingwood cut down and dumped in the backyard of 444 Melrose. That has to be illegal. And the tree limbs are still laying in the yard.
