    This house has been abandon for years. However, t's becoming an increasingly larger problem due to the animals that live inside and are coming onto other properties and houses nearby. The roof is caving in, the fence barely stands and fell onto the neighbors property, the grass, bushes and weeds are overgrown. Besides the animal issue it is a huge fire hazard to our neighborhood.

    There is a deer that has been hit that is currently laying on the sidewalk near bliley rd and forest hill avenue (5804? Forest hill avenue).

  • Bliley And Blakemore Richmond, Virginia - Westlake Hills

    A roundabout was constructed at the intersection of Bliley and Blakemore Roads over 2 weeks ago and has not been completed. The Westlake Hills Community is highly upset, as we are having to fix the cones that keep getting knocked over since they are the only indication of what the new traffic pattern is supposed to be.
    - The signage around the intersection is terrible. New lines haven't been painted and the old lines are still in place (which leaves traffic from Bliley Road stopping in the middle of the roundabout traffic).
    - The placement of the circle in the center is too close to one corner, leaving cars little room to negotiate between a light pole and the center circle. (This will be a problem during icy weather.)
    - There needs to be a "roundabout" sign with the Yield sign showing drivers what they are supposed to be doing.

    Please give us an estimated time on when this project is supposed to be completed. Also, please let us know if there is any concern about the center circle being too close to Bliley Road and leaving little room for traffic to steer around without hitting the light pole.

    Dorchester Rd. and Boscobel Ave. are constantly use as a cut off to avoid the light at Forest Hill and Jahnke. People drive very fast through this area and there are my small children in the neighborhood.

    Forest Hill Ave Richmond, Virginia - Westlake Hills
    The road conditions around the intersection of Forest Hill Ave., and Powhite Pkwy., is absolutely atrocious on both sides of the road. Vehicles have to slow way down and start weaving, causing traffic jams and potential accidents, in order to navigate and avoid the massive potholes and bumpy roads. Why hasn't this been fixed yet? Many people have been complaining for years, but to no avail. This is a major commuter road for travelers, so I would think that Richmond City would care about its citizens, listen to the complaints, and fix it. I think it's very interesting how wealthy neighborhoods, such as those along River Road and Libbie Road, have minimal pothole/road issues and the roads are immediately and completely repaved entirely; yet a known and widely complained-about massive pothole and road condition issue in working class Forest Hill area goes neglected for years...

    Neighbor has had a building permit for many years and makes little progress. He has built a privacy fence and piles trash up on the street side of the fence. His permits need to be checked and he needs to clean up the property. It looks like a trash dumb and the construction is not progressing.
  • Corner Of Forest Hill Avenue And Prince Arthur Road Richmond, Virginia - Richmond Precinct 3
    Currently you are able to turn left after yielding to traffic in the opposite direction. However, if there is a truck, SUV or mini-van in the opposite turning lane (turning from Forest Hill Avenue to Jahnke Rd) you can not see on-coming cars. Several times I have witnessed accidents that almost happened.
