Notified About

  • 340 Second Street Jersey City, New Jersey - Downtown
Last night this very same vehicle drove right over the delinator's, a middle age female with shoulder length dark hair walked out of J.C Eco Laundry and laughed uproariously at the driver, clapping and saying "Haha, good one!!"
THIS is NO LONGER a simple "parking violation", this is a full blown business complaint. Thank you.
  • Christopher Columbus Dr & Monmouth St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
The intersection at Christopher Colombus and Monmouth is VERY dangerous because at the light on Monmouth there are two car lanes one for going straight and one for right turns only. When the light turns green more often than not cars that are in the right turn only lane try to go straight causing a dangerous and unexpected merging situation. I see near collisions every morning.
  • 345 Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
Cars speed down Newark Ave. and do not slow down at crosswalk at Sixth and Newark. Friend was almost struck. Two new buildings have been built at intersection and added more pedestrians and still lack of safety/traffic calming design.
  • 449-453 Monmouth St Jersey City NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
Missing stop sign and no street painting leading to unsafe intersection. 6th and Monmouth.
  • 312-316 4th Street Jersey City, New Jersey - Downtown
4th Street between Coles and Brunswick is in dire need of repaving after multiple rounds of work (Sewer, water, gas,) The last round of construction was a year ago.
  • 340 Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
The intersection of Newark, 5th and Merseles is a tragedy waiting to happen during morning rush hour as kids are crossing on the way to PS5. There is no stop sign, traffic light to protect pedestrians in the crosswalk. Drivers ignore the flashing crossing lights and turn a 2 lane road into 4 as the cross the median and pass vehicles on the right OR LEFT to get by the cars that DO stop for pedestrians. They also ignore the crossing guard (who has been absent the past week). The 25mph speed limit is ignored as people are doing 40. In the few weeks school has been open, there have been close calls even when the crossing guard is there holding up a stop sign. The construction at the intersection also limits sidewalk space.
  • 2nd St & Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

  • 384 2nd St Jersey City, New Jersey - Downtown
We have daily groups of teenagers from Ferris H.S. spending their lunch hour on our stoop — private property. They do not have our permission to be there. They litter, make noise and are rather mean if we ask them to move and/or clean up after themselves. Calls to the school have gone nowhere — all they do is tell us to call the police. Can the city help in some other way, or offer concrete suggestions? We don’t want to ruin these kids’ lives; we just want them to stop using private property as their cafeteria and trash dump — and to stop throwing nasty words and glares our way when we assert our rights as property owners. We also want the school to address this domehow, as they’re letting the students out for lunch as a privilege. Thanks for your help.
  • 303 4th Street Jersey City, New Jersey - Downtown
Owner should be responsible for this
  • 143 Brunswick St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
Bollards and corner expansion requested for Brunswick and Newark. Cars make a right turn off Newark at a rapid speed. Many children cross at this corner for PS5.

98 Colgate Street Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
This building is gigantic and much taller than any other buildings in the area - I count 6 stories. It is blocking the views of all the buildings around it. This cannot be in compliance with our neighborhood building guidelines. Please enforce the local guidelines for new construction!! Work must be stopped.
